Poste, Première: An Index of Emulators available on PC in 2015

asdf3A young human child once asked me “Can you emulate games without an emulator?” After deliberate and careful contemplation of this question, I answered the human with a resounding and emphatic “No.” The child survived and his emotional scars are presently healed.

With this vivid anecdote in mind, it may be an opportune time to share an index of some of the popular emulators and complementary software available today. Please, only use these formatted packages of computer languages for your personal enjoyment and for the greater good.

  1. I agree – unbelievable and I could only add some additional emulators of old 8/16 bit computers like WinUAE (Amiga) etc. although most of them might be covered in MESS meanwhile. Having said this, your list is so comprehensive and there are so many projects out there that are no longer maintained that I probably wouldn’t change anything in this post. You are so much on-spot like nothing I have ever seen before. Thanks for this list.
